As Business Development Specialist you will be responsible for the introduction of highly innovative software product solutions to the global market. You will work on new business activities together with your partners at a strategic level. Furthermore, you will be responsible for defining a joint go-to-market strategy, as well as creating new markets and successful market entry. Implementing these strategic sales efforts, you will determine the sales channels needed and maintain current partnerships.

You can translate the needs of “possible “customers and partners to our product solutions.
In your role, you will focus on understanding software developers, DevOps engineers and their managers; how they buy, their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to into engaging collateral and programs.
Developing growth strategies and plans for developing and positioning products and solutions,
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
Work closely with product management, solution engineers to understand and translate technical and product features to business benefits and value proposition
Develop and maintain competitive positioning for key competitors and ensure sales team is prepared to address competitive objections
Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Following industry trends locally and internationally
University of Bachelor's Degree
4+ years of business Development or Consulting Experience
High-level communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to negotiate
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
Willing to travel 20%
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Professional level of both English and Dutch
