To help us grow the customer base for our staking services, we are seeking a Business Development Manager. You will work closely with the Business Development team on establishing new partnerships and supporting our clients and partners throughout their user journey with us.
Related workstreams to this position encompass business development, sales, customer success, and communications with a focus on staking and other opportunities that involve participating in public blockchain networks. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an industry building cutting-edge technology laying the foundation for an internet-native, open, and permissionless financial system.
Customer exploration (20h/week)
mapping the ecosystem of potential partners (e.g. custodians, wallets, other institutions), identifying contact persons, establishing contact, having initial conversations about Chorus One as a staking partner, sharing and updating Sales documentation and collateral, updating our CRM
Closing deals (5h/week)
participation in negotiating terms, crafting agreements, coordinating onboarding
Customer success and reporting (5h/week)
coordinating with Finance and Research on tracking staking rewards and providing reports to existing customers, staying up-to-date with plans of existing partners to cross-/upsell further services, providing insights, research, and analysis created within Chorus One to partners
Participating in discussions about strategic direction and other company/department-wide meetings (5h/week)
Understanding and researching our networks/services and improving them (5h/week)
Minimum Qualifications

1+ years experience in either a Sales/Business Development-focused role in tech or finance-related organization
1+ years experience working in crypto
interested and experience in the crypto ecosystem (specifically staking and/or DeFi)
Hubspot knowledge
