As the bid manager, your duties will include: Checking and aggressively identifying new bids from public entities every week (space agencies, governments, local organizations, etc.). Organize the bid-/no-bid procedure to swiftly determine whether it is worthwhile to respond to this bid. Relocation assistance is provided for those willing to relocate including visa sponsorship where applicable.
Checking and actively identifying on a weekly basis the new bids from public bodies (space agencies, governments, local organizations, etc.).
Lead the bid- / no-bid process to quickly evaluate if it is worth answering this bid.
Manage and prepare the bid answer, in cooperation with the technical and financial teams.
Set up the proper consortium of partners to answer the bid, manage the relations with them, and negotiate their workshare.
Manage the relationship with the public clients: going to workshops, and representing the company in public events.
Negotiate the contractualisation of the bid - in case we win.
We look for someone with exceptional analytical, synthetical and project skills. Someone who can understand how to structure and manage a consortium of players, motivating them to answer the bids while properly negotiating their workshare.
You like working under pressure. You like writing. You like motivating and embarking people on new projects.
Having bid management experience is a plus, but not a necessity. It is not a problem if you have not worked yet in the space sector.
