The role of BI Project Manager can be the perfect challenge for you if you're trying to have a global influence that is shaped by principles like entrepreneurship, commitment, and partnership. You will be in charge of all aspects of projects in the field of business intelligence, from project planning and resource allocation to on-time, within-budget delivery with high stakeholder satisfaction. You will have end-to-end responsibility for projects within the area of business intelligence from project planning and resource allocation to on-time delivery within budget with high satisfaction of key stakeholders
You will support and manage IT process managers, application specialists, developers, testers, key users and suppliers
You will be responsible for risk management, project controlling, reporting and communication with the steering committee
You will support active change and adoption management and ensure project documentation and handover
You drive continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
You have successfully (co-)managed complex IT projects in multinational companies, some of which focused on business intelligence, reporting and analytics
You combine project management, technical and business skills
You have solid experience in Agile/Waterfall project management methodologies, e.g. PMI, Prince2, Scrum, SAFe - ideally proven by certifications - or similar
You have a university degree in business, IT, (industrial) engineering or a comparable qualification
You are a recognized entrepreneurial leader and an empathetic team player (m/f/d) with a solid balance of analytical skills, "can do" mentality and risk management mindset
You have excellent communication, persuasion and problem-solving skills within IT and other business units at all levels
You are fluent in English
You would be willing to travel regularly to Knauf sites on all continents
