As an Application Specialist, in this role you will be expected to administer applications , configure applications, automate provisioning processes and apply specialist knowledge to select applications to further support the business. You will work directly with the business users and the rest of the Digital Workplace to ensure that the user base have access to the right systems and that these systems meet the end user needs whilst also ensuring you remain the advocate for best practice use of the systems. The role will also work closely with the vendors of the systems to ensure that services are being provided up to standard and that we are working in the most effective way. The Digital Workplace team is working to ensure that all employees within Ocado Group have the right technologies to do their jobs successfully and in the easiest way possible. This involves providing end users with the optimum software in a multitude of disciplines, Communication ,Productivity, Project Management and Knowledge.
Essential
Strong administrative experience demonstrating management to a defined process and attention to detail
An understanding of the need and reasons for IT software licening
Experience in creating and presenting information in easy to consume visual formats
Ability to prioritise workload against business/project requirements and key customers
Contribute to internal knowledge expansion and continual process improvement
Empathy for end user requirements
