Reporting to the Head of Events Sales you can expect your working day to include the following.
To be responsible for the reactive sales of meetings & events and small scale group enquiries from initial enquiry to contract handover
Creating quotations and proposals based on customer requirements, conducts regular follow-up calls to identify changing needs, converts enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Inputting enquiries into the relevant booking systems and ensurig data integrity.
Drafting and issuing groups and events contracts, maintaining regular follow ups and ensuring such booking statuses are changed and aligned in Opera Sales & Catering.
Conducting site visits to showcase the hotel.

To succeed in the role of Event Executive, you will need the following qualities and skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
Previous user of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy of spelling and grammar, layout and content formation essential.
Highly organized and efficient approach required.
Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results.
