We are looking for a highly talented Agile Coach to join our team in Dubai. An ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor as well as a strong team player.
Facilitate and attend activities related to team delivery and improvement (backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand up, retrospectives etc), coaching and guiding teams toward collaboration and group creativity.
Maintain knowledge of popular and Hunger Station bred agile practices, coaching teams to use them to best effect. At the same time, actively promote innovation and agility in their teams, helping them to develop and explore new ways of doing and being.
Working with the Product and Engineering Managers, seek out and remove impediments to successful delivery for their teams.
Raise awareness throughout all of Hunger Station of their teams’ delivery goals and activities.
Act as an enabler in Hunger Station initiatives by directly facilitating collaboration and/or coaching those facilitation skills, spreading them as a broad Hunger Station competency.
Be an agile role model, open-minded, disciplined, a dedicated life-learner. You must innovate and encourage innovation, acting as an enabler to team success and never a barrier. Carrying a truly agile mindset, look to instil the same in everybody you come in contact with, being genuine in contributing to the development of an inclusive, creative, adaptive development environment
Strong experience working with or in agile software development teams in any capacity. This role will be non-technical, the caretaker of agile practices as a participating member of Hunger Station teams.
Well-developed, proven and effective coaching, team building and group facilitation skills are essential, ideally at least 5 years experience across all of these.
Excellent communication skills (bi-directional!)
Excellent knowledge of agile principles and practices (specific framework
expertise not important, we believe in non-prescriptive agile adoption).
Excellent planning skills and experience, naturally capable of seeing
dependencies and driving others to deliver, while maintaining great
relationships - a diplomat yet a driver of great outcomes.
