An Academic Institution requires an Academic Faculty to teach the Higher Diploma Degree in Advanced Energy Engineering Technology program. This is an Open Rank (Hiring Rank will depend on candidate’s post-Master/ PhD relevant full time teaching experiences, number of publications in reputable journals etc)
Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, and clinical sessions
Develop and update subject material
Develop and deliver different teaching approaches and models including, but not limited to, e-learning, student-centered education, blended education, flipped lecture model, individualized learning
Act as subject/course coordinators
Conduct and supervise research and scholarly activities and align undergraduate capstone and graduate projects with career, problem based industrial projects and patentable ideas
Engage in scholarly activities, innovation, and submission of grant applications to support research goals
Participate in professional activities such as training, conferences, workshops, etc
Organise events and community services such as exhibitions, conferences, competitions, workshops and training sessions
Develop assessment tools, grading rubrics, and outcome assessments
Advise and mentor students
Undertake administrative functions connected to academic outcome reporting, course filing and archiving, course surveys and feedback, grade book, and e-assessments
Participate in internal and external committees
Participate in committees for strategy and policy development
Provide consultation services
Conduct any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Must be qualified to Master degree, PhD (preferred) level in Electrical Engineering fields
(Professional Doctorates are NOT accepted i.e. Doctorate of Education or Doctorate of Business Administration etc)
Evidence to active research records and publications, with minimum of 2 publications registered in Scopus Database or Scholarly Publications
Participated in curriculum development
Excellent oral and written English with IELTS academic band of 7 (is a must for non-native English speakers)
All candidates must obtain the Equivalency certificate for their highest qualification/from the MOE, UAE
10 years Field experience, of which 5 years should be in teaching-training
Solid knowledge and expertise in their field of study
Able to deliver educational programs and information using different teaching approaches, methods and techniques in a way that meets the learning styles of the target audience
Interpersonal Communication Skills and networking with different education system stakeholders
High level of awareness, commitment, and ability to understand and adopt a wide multicultural prospective in education programming
Professional level of understanding the organizational management and its structure

Competitive TAX FREE Monthly Salary from 13,500 to 15,500 AED depending on qualifications, years of experience and publications
First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite. Housing Allowance provided as follows for employee to find accommodation (Help will be given):
8,320 to 13,000 AED monthly depending on marital status, location and position
AED 20,000 Cash Relocation Allowance given at beginning of contract. Half upon arrival and half after 3 month probation period
Provided for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children
Cash Allowance given based on home country location for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children
Relocation air tickets also provided at beginning and end of contract
Leave:
In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year
School Tuition of 80,000 AED per family, maximum 40K per child
This allowance to be used for tuition fees, exam fees, text books, uniform, school transport – (all must be official invoices from the school)
VISA fees and Medical check done in the country for Residency Visa are paid by the school for Employee only
Receive 21 days Basic Salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket back to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country
