For their two youngest children, a prominent Doha-based family is seeking a competent and experienced English-speaking governess. The family has five children; although you might be asked to help coordinate the older children's schedules with tutors, your primary focus will be on the two youngest. The two younger kids speak rudimentary French and have an excellent command of the English language. The older child is doing well in school, and they both need a governess to oversee their academics, manage their calendars, communicate with tutors and schools, and encourage autonomous study in addition to helping them both improve their English language skills through lessons and play.
The ideal candidate will have strong teaching experience in Primary and Secondary schools. Be able to tutor in all core topics to a high standard.
You should be friendly, flexible, organized, and be a positive role model and mentor to the children.
The household is fully staffed, consisting of nannies, housekeepers, and butlers, therefore you will be required to work as a team.
The working schedule will be 6 days on with 1 day off, the day off will change weekly depending on the children’s schedule.
The working hours will be up to 12 hours per day, starting when the children wake up and finishing when the children go to sleep.
This is a live-in position with a private bedroom provided within the family home.
The family travels often and you will be required to travel with them.
Salary £5000 – £6000 per month
